Slowly, I turn…

Well, it’s been a little while since the last post. However, seeing as how no one has read it, no big deal right?

Since I last wrote, I went on a vacation/tour that ties in nicely with the still un-named tour comic. First stop was Wyomissing, PA for the recording of Comic Geek Speak Episode 300. This was truly an awesome experience. So many friendly people, all there to celebrate their love of comics and their connection through the podcast. It really was a shot in the arm for wanting to contribute to the comics community. I also got to see and talk to a couple of very talented indie creators, which was great.

After that, I spent some time in the birthplace of American comics; New York, NY. What an amazing city! And the pizza! Forget about it. I took a lot of pictures of buildings, for some reason. Probably imaging some day that I would need photo reference for my run on Amazing Spider-Man (that’ll never happen).

Then, the coup de grace, a week and a half long tour with indie rock juggernaut Still Flyin’. Classic tour. Scary, and fun. Lots of great shows, lots of drunken hi-jinks, lots of down time spent wishing you were home, lots of stomach aches.

I’m estimating two more weeks before I’ll post some pencilled pages of “the comic to be named”. Please, if anyone out there happens upopn my sad little blog here, email me a title idea.
