Free at last…

We did it. We actually did it. “From Here To There” is at the printers as we speak. I guess as you read this is more accurate. I don’t care….. either way we’re DONE. You know what I’m doing right now????…. I’m having one of those many beers I said I would (more to come).

I’ve never worked so hard in my life, but you know what? I’ve never been so happy about working so hard. All those 16 hour days have finally paid off. Silly me, I thought that after I wrote my story I was done. That would have been the case if I was just a writer, but I’m  also a partner in Resolution Comics. Guess what that means. That’s right, I’m not done ’till the comics done.

I never, ever, a thousand times no, thought that I would letter a comic. I mean come on, I don’t know how to do that shit. At least I didn’t. Scott - So, your gonna letter this right? Me - Uh, yeah sure. That’s pretty much how it went. Scott lettered one of the stories and I lettered the other three. Don’t get me wrong, Scott wasn’t slacking. He was taking care of a WHOLE LOT of shit that I still need to learn how to do, but I had to learn how to letter a comic in about a week. NOT easy. But I’m glad I did it.

So now I’ve taken a few days off and I’m ready to get back to work. You know what that means….. Thats right, It’s back to work on “The Sound”. I’m also working on a one shot comic. I don’t want to say too much about it yet but it’s gonna be good. You heard it here first.

I’d love to stay and talk more but my beer must have a hole in it ’cause it’s empty now. Thank God they come in 6’s.
